Naples Day is built around the principle that a daily news hub shouldn't have to surveil its readers. This page explains what we collect, what we don't, and why.
Aggregate page-view analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookie-free, privacy-respecting analytics tool. It records anonymous aggregate metrics like how many visitors the site had today, which pages were viewed, and which referrers sent traffic our way. It does not identify individual visitors, set cookies, or track users across sites. Read Cloudflare's privacy statement for details.
Standard server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) keeps short-lived request logs that include IP addresses, browser user agents, and request paths. These are used solely for operational purposes (debugging, abuse prevention, security) and are not tied to any personal identity.
Naples Day is primarily a link aggregator. Every news headline, event, listing, and restaurant card links out to a third-party website. Once you click through, you're subject to that site's own privacy practices — we have no control over their trackers, cookies, or data collection.
Because we don't collect personally identifiable information, there's nothing to request, correct, or delete. If you have questions about this policy or want to report something, email hello@naplesday.com.
If this policy changes, we'll update the “last updated” date at the top of the page. Material changes (anything that would affect what we collect or share) will be noted in a footer banner for at least 30 days before taking effect.
